Run by a lovely Italian couple, Amami Canggu is an authentic 100% vegan Italian restaurant in Bali. The eatery itself is quaint and cozy, and we love their heartwarming, satisfying and delicious dishes! We had the pleasure to have them sharing 3 recipes with us in our vegan cookbook. Today, we are revealing their Focaccia Genovese recipe with you! Super easy to follow and yummy!
Whole Wheat Flour - 400g / 14oz
Water - 200ml / 6.7fl oz
Yeast - 20g / 2.5 tbsp
Tomato - 1pc
Onion - 1pc
Pinch of Salt & Pepper
Drizzles of Olive Oil
• Mix the flour with water and yeast, then leave it to proof in the oven for 2 hrs.
• Press the dough with your fingers on a sheet, and cover with slices of tomato, onion, a bit of salt, rosemary and drizzles of olive oil.
• Bake for 20 min in the oven at 250 Celsius.
